Synopsis
The World
Lauren is a genuine idealist. When she moves home to her small, eclectic suburban town, she does the only thing that's ever made sense to her: she opens a yoga studio and tries to teach an entire zip code to breathe. The town is not ready. Lauren is undeterred.
Enter Sonny — her business-savvy, fast-talking new colleague, who happens to be running the books from the studio because he is currently on house arrest. Between Lauren's optimism and Sonny's hustle, Zen Room becomes an accidental home for a found family of mismatched goofballs who came for the stretching and stayed for the people.
Shot single-cam in a warm, lived-in mockumentary style, Zenroom is a comedy about small-town ambition, chosen family, and what "stretching" really means. Namaste.
"It's a show about a town that doesn't want to change, run by a woman who won't stop trying — and the felon keeping the lights on."
